Okay, they're on and I'm reasonably happy. Coverage is excellent, from a purely functional standpoint, 100%. The rears glue on, you use an accelerant and just stick them on. Not my favorite method as if I need a new bumper skin, I'll need new to knock these off and apply new tape. The fronts bolt onto existing hardware for the fender liners and this is where things aren't ideal. They use one upper screw and the lower one that goes into the running board. My issue is that ideally I'd prefer they tucked between the liner and the car body, but that lower mount requires you to run them behind the liner and the plug that fits into the running board. So they don't fit flush as is, i"ve debated applying some tape to the mid point to close the gap, but I think I'll leave it in the sun for a few days to see if they mount up a little better.
My initial plan was to remove the lower cover over the front of the running board, but I realized that it has the actual receiver for the lowest screw, so I'd have to rig some sort of internal plug to hold that screw tight and there's an obvious issue about wind/water egress into the running boards if you did jettison things. Terrible shots that don't actually show the front coverage (but it's perfect for my setup) and rear nearly out of frame. It's hard to believe I had a photography scholarship.
