This looks great!
I'd immediately prefer this over the Maverick or Santa Cruz.

Ram Rampage is a scaled-down, unibody 1500 for Latin America - AutoblogRam still isn't ready to reveal what's under the body, but an unverified report claims the Rampage rides on an evolution of the platform that underpins the Dodge Hornet and the Alfa Romeo Tonale, among other models. It allegedly measures 197 inches long, 73 inches wide, and 71 inches tall, figures that make it approximately three inches shorter and two inches taller than the Ford Maverick and just as wide.
Similarly, we'll need to be patient to find out what's on the palette of available engines. The same report claims the Rampage will launch with a 2.0-liter turbodiesel four-cylinder engine, and that a gasoline-burning 2.0-liter turbo-four will join the range later in the production run. We're guessing that front-wheel-drive will come standard and all-wheel-drive will be optional, though keep in mind that nothing is official yet.
Ram will fully unveil the Rampage in the coming weeks, but nothing suggests that the model will fight head-to-head against the Maverick in the United States. The brand stresses that the Rampage was developed with input from American engineers but for the Latin American market.
I'm not going to say I wouldn't want that. And comes in brown with roll-up windows? 🤪
Got it - didn't realize the platform was shared with the Compass which is Hecho en Mexico.I’d guess Mexico, since labor is cheaper there and they already build the ram 1500 (so no chicken tax).
That's for the Rebel. There will be a different grille for Laramie and other trims:Sucks that they gave it a TRX looking grille for this puny truck
ugh so it's a compass? I'm outGot it - didn't realize the platform was shared with the Compass which is Hecho en Mexico.

I had to look it up. That's a first gen Fiat Doblòthat Silver thing parked next to it is Taller than the Rampage....
Ram made the front end rather high and somewhat wide compared to the cab so that the Rampage looks bigger than it is, but the overall dimensions won´t be much different from the Fiat Toro.It looks as tall as a full sized Ram in these pics.
That’s a pretty clear illustration 👍🏾Ram made the front end rather high and somewhat wide compared to the cab so that the Rampage looks bigger than it is, but the overall dimensions won´t be much different from the Fiat Toro.

The sides of the bed look as tall as a midsized truck (Ford Ranger). These small trucks definitely play some visual tricks on your eyes/brain.Another one:

I’d take it over the Maverick on looks alone, although the proportions are kind of weird.Engine options: 2.0 TD with 170 hp or 2.0 Hurricane with 272cv
Both paired with a 9 speed transmission, AWD.

There was probably some design parameters they had to stick to. For example, it's common for cars from the same platform to reuse the same side windows and windshield, which limits the option on door shape and the rake angle of the A and C pillar.Looks weird if you ask me. The front and rear is very boxy and traditional, while the middle looks like it belong on a much more swoopy and aerodynamic truck.
