More expensive, but good idea for getting it serviced. My sister works for VoA and dealers can definitely tell if cars are chipped and VoA has been know to void warranty or two.
Go to APR's site. If you get a chip from them, you need to send them your ecu or bring it to one of their dealers. They also give you the option of getting a new ecu and chip shipped right to your door. All you have to do is switch your ecu.
i want to keep my stock ecu , i just want to buy a new ecu thats chipped . i understand that this is a more expensive option but i want no problems with my warranty.
Im sure you'd be safe with Revo, an encrypted software based chipped that is theoretically undetectable to VW dealers... Purchase one of the SPS devices to switch back to stock if worried about going to dealership with a chip... http://****************.com/smile/emthup.gif
i tried the search but could not find good info , what do i need to keep my og ecu and use a new ecu thats chipped , can the dealer find a chip or software through thier equipment , i really need good information . thanks in advance for your help.
i just went to the revo site and found my answer ,but getting a new ecu chipped by revo i can also opt for the immoblizer bypass ,allowing me to keep my old ecu for the trips to the dealership .
