Yes. Yes it is. I’ll add to this a bit later, but I found a two owner local car, bone stock, with new top, battery, and tires. No rust, new suspension bushings, shifter and clutch feel great. Came with a large book of maintenance, a tonneau cover, steering wheel lock… It’s quite mint. I present, my 1991 Mazda MX-5. 91,156 miles at time of sale.

Leak is from water pump, which is propelled by timing belt. Engine mounts are trash, they will be replaced by MazdaSpeed version, for maximum torkles.
Ah gotcha. I was gonna say the gasket around the thermostat there looks like it's been rocking back and forth. The water neck becomes something of a torque arm if the motor is moving too far.

i had the worst luck with the aftermarket tstat gaskets too. they may as well have been cut directly from construction paper.
I don’t believe I ever unfastened the tonneau cover on my NA. So never noticed the fasteners.

And, while not cheap - Moss Miata has Mazda center caps for that extra OEM goodness.
this photo makes me think I'd want to go narrower (for me). Personally I prefer to keep tires inside the wheel wells. No hate, just personal taste. 👍

I think you guys are looking at it from the top with the suspension at full droop. I'm saying those wheels will fit fine.
