Matt is still in denial, but that is because he has yet to hit bottom. I give it 6 months before he admits to his problem and starts to seek out the help of friends and loved ones.

Nahh if it was really like old times I would be getting threads locked and tons of IM's from the mods threatening to ban me. Instead Matt is just trying to have IM sex with me.

Actually, its all about winning autocrosses and making r1ce burners (bikes) look stupid in the mountains.....

It's not so unbelievable. My MkIII VR will outrun bikes through tight stuff. Bikes are better suited for open high speed corners, plus you need to have a large set of...to push it really hard in a tight section with a bike. Most people just don't have the nerve for it. I have a sequence of pics somewhere that my friend took while I was driving of a bike falling farther and farther behind through the corners.

It all depends on the size of the sidewall. I'd never put my old 195/40-16s on anything wider than a 8" rim, but if you got the 50 series sidewall, you can go quite a bit wider because there is quite a bit more sidewall - so at the same angle, the bead will be wider. 195/50 on a 9" will be hardly more stretched than 215/40
