This is no joke - I was reading the Sun paper (the local Baltimore Rag) and I saw a Kia ad that caught my attention. It says that if you buy any Kia Optima you get a second Kia Optima LX one free!
Now if Volkswagen would do that, I would have four of them in my driveway!

WTF??
Whats the terms of that deal? If it's straight up a second optima, i'd jump on it!

You can't be serious. Why would you NOT go for that anyway?? it's free money! If you don't want the first Optima, just sell it too. Even with the depreciation of selling it used, it's like trading $2,000 for $20,000.

Oooh, I bet I know the catch...
I bet they give you a free 2002 Optima, which, with Kia's massive depreciation, is probably the same as getting a $2000 cash back deal

Magentis/Optima are mid-size sedan that Kia seems to be doing pretty decently, they don't need such desperate approach to get rid of them.

Could be true if they still have '03s on the lot. Dodge was giving away Neons with new Hemi Rams just a while back.

Also buy 1 get one free theres probally some rule that you cant get rid of 1 car for so many months so your stuck with both. Also that means theres less odds you'll shop with another company for a while.
Unless your buying the 1st car & the 2nd car is a lease so in 36months you have to trade it in.
Also is it a lease or buying for the 1st/2nd?
