Re: New Floor Mats (kookeisha)

You want to know another cost effective way, its ghetto, but it works, I did them for my Jetta. Go to your local home depot or lowes, get a high quality carpet that matches the color of you car. There probably going to be made of something that easily melts, so you take the current floor mats that you have, trace them onto the backside of the carpet you purchased, cut them out with a razor blade, then take a lighter or a blow torch, and heat the edges to keep them from fraying, but dont burn them. It will give them a nice finished look, and you will have a high quality carpet with the backing to keep from liquids hitting your floorboard. And if you want to be real creative, get a bunch of patches that represent your car, and sew them on, or have someone do it for you. I did that **** for mine, and they looked hot. If you want to see pictures, email me and I will send you some of my completed product. Its worth it because you will have kick ass carpeting, for under 20 bucks.
