Am I suppose remove it with the car off, turn the car on, hit 3k 4 times then turn off the car and plug in the sensor again?
Should I do it while the car is warm? Cold?
Please give good tips on how to do this... I am a newer VW guy. http://****************.com/smile/emthup.gif
TIA!

Re: Resetting the ECU on a Digi I motor... (VW n00b)

The reason I believe I need to reset it is because I removed the timing belt and then when I replaced it the car pinged... so you took it to get the timing done. I don't think the guy re-set the ECU and I think that it might be causing some idle problems or possibly some problems with lack of power.
