Re: Newbie (Zacky)

Welcome Zacky !
I just picked up a new GTi for the missus (for $34k inclusive of ORC) so good to see you have secured a good deal also.
Who are you buying it through ?

Re: (Zacky)

ey Zacky... Is the sport a 1.6 or 2.0? Good pickup in anycase - they are very reliable... and if they're not the dealership will fix it

Anyone know some real facts?

The only major issue I have had with the 1.6L Golf is the ABS recall (which was fixed under warranty). Otherwise the car has been pretty reliable. http://****************.com/smile/emthup.gif

Actually the leasing company are haggling the delaer (Denlo) even further so hopefully will get better price still
$34 inc ORC thats an excellent pickup

Yes unfortunately Denlo is out of favour big time with me re pricing.

It's a 2.0L manual not much different in spec to a GTI (that I know) besides the obvious engine difference

Now that is a good buy!!!! My GLE 2.0L cost me $33K
