my rrado is getting a new clutch, the tranny fixed, removing the 3.94 R&P that i hate soo much (going back to factory r&p) and then i get to put in the shifter that i have wanted forever.

ok the pic of my vw motorsport shifter worked when i posted ? i just checked back and saw the red X.

that was the whole point to this post
i like the factory SLC r&p better. i never changed my 5th gear with the 3.94 and im sure if i did i might have liked it a little bit. oh well.

i've wanted it for my C ever since i saw one years ago. it's a very short throw shifter, it has adjustable cables, and it supposedly hard to miss a shift. it also has a cool reverse lock out thingy on it.
i just had to get one.................now i get to try to install it

i doubt there is any "how to" articles on installing one of these things

yeah i got the cables with it. they have the metal ball couplers instead of plastic. they are also threaded for length adjustment. i have been thinking about that self centering issue and im curious to see how much different it will be to drive with it everyday. im sure it's gonna take a little time to get the feel for it.
i have more pics but im having issues getting them posted. i could e-mail them to ya.
