First and foremost... BIG THANKS TO STEVE AND JAY!!! I OWE YA!
With that outta the way, here are some pics to wet your whistle. More will be up tomorrow...
Little info before more pics are posted... All the rods are bent.. lol. only one piston blew, the other 3 are in such good condition they could be re-used. The crank is toast, the head might very well be salvageable. If it is it will be for sale with the intake manifold.
pic of nothing on the front end... no bumper, no rebar, no lights, no radiator, no *insert here*.....

Shot of cylinders. THe blocks walls are find as well, how the heck that happened god only knows... If there weren't 2 huge holes in it, I could probably re-use it.

Crank is toast.

if the head isnt salvageable .. i got dibs on the casting .. lol .. i hella need one fast .. anyone know were i can get one or does some one have one laying round .. looking for a totaly toast head the is of no good use or rebuildable .. need if to mock up mains i whant to make .. thanks

How about turning a camera on the the process. Day by day documentary on 1.8T re-build.
