Re: Great Way To Freshin Up Your Bumpers!! (92MK2Poop)

FINALLLY SOMEBODY AGREES WITH ME!!!!!!! '
This stuff is the real deal. Mad people think all the other stuff is great even thought they're just a dressing that will come off eventually. This stuff makes it look like you put back to black on, but it really dyes the plastic. It's a little tough to apply a even coat over a large area, but it really is cream of the crop for trim restoration.

It makes the bumpers look new again. Sunlight is the only thing that makes it fade, just like with factory condition. It's the stuff that Mk2poop and VegasJetta linked to at the top of the thread. I've done 2 cars with it (including my dashboard and engine plastic), and the bottle is barely 1/2 gone.

I figure that the Griot's stuff is something else in thier packaging, but I don't know what. Mail ordering is the only way to get stuff from Griot's. Alot of their stuff is expensive, but it's all very high quality stuff. I've been using this dye for a couple years. I re-dyed mine after like 18 months just for the hell of it, and the original job had barely faded if at all. This dye is no joke. If I wan't the real show car gloss on my bumpers for some temporary bling, I rub some Mobil1 on them.
