I got pulled over for speeding last night 73 in a 55. The cop was cool and gave me a written warning. My question is: Next time I get pulled over will the cop know I got that warning? And if so how long will that be on my record?

Good question. I have never had a written warning, just verbals. |

I disagree with only one part of your suggestions junky. I say wait until they get to your car to get your license and insurance out. That way, they don't see you fidgeting around trying to pull it all out and wonder if you are hiding something. Both hands on the wheel, be respectful, and admit your mistake is always a good idea though. |

I've been pretty lucky when it comes to cops. I've been pulled over about 10 times for speeding, and I've only had three tickets, and now a written warning. Here's a couple tips for when you get pulled over: 1. Turn off your radio. 2. Have your license and proof of insurance in your hand. 3. KEEP YOUR HANDS ON THE WHEEL. 4. Be extra respectful. "Yes Sir" "No Sir" 5. Be honest. You both know why you got pulled over, just admit it. |
