Re: 2005 Jeep Grand Cherokee Pics (LuckyDogg)

The exterior styling of the Gen 2 is a classic. I love that truck, probably my favorite SUV -- from the outside. However, I got a chance to ride in one recently. It was either a 2003 or 2004 with low miles, a few thousand, and it was a rattly, shaky, creaky POS. I was really surprised, and disappointed. Since this is the first all-new Grand Cherokee since the 'merger', hopefully some better engineering went into the interior and the ride. If they didn't benchmark the 4Runner, this truck will fail. Actually, it probably won't.. they'll shovel them out, heavily incented, or on crazy lease deals to secretaries coast-to-coast. Cheerio!

Man, Chrysler's truck designers are cranking up the ugly to 11. Those headlights are HORRIBLE!
I'd expect something like that from Daewoo. Hell, Hyundai has better designs than that. http://****************.com/smile/emthdown.gif

EGADS! That's really horrible. I definitely prefer the current generation JGC. I also don't like that it seems to share styling cues with the Dodge line. I should think D/C would want to differentiate them a bit more than this. Hopefully it's better looking in person.
