LED type 1156 for rear of Golf IV ?

Like it says: I've been thinking about swapping in the LED cluster 1156 bulbs for the P21W bulbs in the tail lights of my Golf. Has anyone else done this and run into any unexpected problems? How about signals?

I tried some LED bulbs (1157) in my Corrado tailamps,They do not light up as bright,due to the optics of the stock tailights.You need a clear tailight for this to work.

The problem with LED bulbs are they are very directional so you would need to buy the more expensive ones more like $50 /pc to be able to use them succesfully, cuz with the cheap ones you are NOT using the reflector in your tails at all!
