If there aren't any supercharger for this engine, Wich turbo would fit it right away

Re: Is there an easy way to super-charge or turbo a VW Digi-8V ? (rick90210)

hi Rick,
As far as I know I'm the only one selling supercharger kits for the 1.8 engines in the older cars...also works on the ABA bottom end swap.
There are plenty of places selling turbo parts, but you'll likely need to piece your own kit together from various parts sources...

So, How easy is to install a supercharger kit to a 1990 Jetta Digifant 8V 4cyl 1.8L with A/C and Power steering ?
And (approx) how high can the cost rise ?
Thanx

In my case, Im leaning to the supercharger kit, because I just want to add more punch to the car to compete with everyday driving with cars of today. I mean, now even the kias and daewoos have far more punch that my humble jetta... What do you think ? is it a good idea ? And to leave a few skid marks along tha way... why not hu ?

hi Rick,
I'd absolutely love to help you get a twin screw on your A2...however currently it only goes onto A1/A2 cars without AC... I may change this in the future if enough people demand it...
I use the same parts as I ship to customers in my own Lysholm Cabby... here is a pic to show you what the setup looks like in my own car...

I've recently had my own charger off for test fitting of production parts, and also to change out my old prototype parts with the same items the customers get...while all items were out I took liberty to improve the fan shrouding...but it gives a general idea of how the charger goes on...
hope this helps,
peter tong
