Re: Got Alignment Checked (Daemon42)

I just had my alignment corrected. Before the car pulled to the right & the wheel was off to the left. Apparently the front left & rear left toes needed to be corrected. It feels great now (although the wheel is now slightly off to the right

Re: Got Alignment Checked (BlackMagicR32)

the ball joint mounts to the control arm with 3 bolts/nuts. there are 1/2" long slots on the control arm side of this. so yes, the strut sits in there just the same, but they give you adjustment at the pivot. my TT can go up to -1.75 on both sides, maxed out. just got back today actually. i'm running -1.5 all around, yeilding perfectly flat rear tire wear and acceptable front tire wear. once i lessoned the rears to -1.5 it really became tossable. got a hair toe out in front and a hair toe in in back. Johnson's alignment spent very good amount of time messing with it. anyone in the L.A. area would greatly appreciate their racing background. TONS of full blown race cars to drool over while you wait. they're in Torrance on Hawthorne.

Re: Got Alignment Checked (R2-32)

hey mon,
Are you still able to e-mail alignment specs to folks who ask? If so, could you shoot them to pcottone@msn.com? Thanks for your time. I'm getting alignment done in about a week at local place...

Re: Got Alignment Checked (VWRTB)

Oh... My rear wheels are fine at negative 1.5 degrees but my fronts are out. How much of an adjustment can I make using the ball joints? I've heard you can't do much on the R32.
