Any pocketbike riders in the area?

I just bought one of these the other day and it is sooo much fun to ride. I was wondering if there are any others in the area that have them. If so maybe we can meet up and do some racing.

There is a track up in MA that allows them or we can find a good empty parking lot to rip around in. Let me know. Here is a pic.

You can get the chinese made bikes on ebay and in stores for $300-500 all the time. The one I got is a Blata 2.5 which has a 2 stroke 3.5 hp motor which goes for $1100-1300 new but used ones can be found for around $600. Some with more hp can cosr close to $3000.

If you do some checking around though the less expensive bikes tend to have more problems than some of the higher end ones. I've ridden mine pretty hard so far and haven't had any problems at all.....yet.

one of my freinds bout the APC one from pepboys... we drove it around for about 20 min and then all the oilseals blew out.. oil was all over the place lol.. but what do u expect from APC lol

Actually Josh I've been thinking of one too. There are tons of parkinglots for them and on Ebay you can buy a lot of 5 for under a grand in some instances. http://****************.com/smile/emthup.gif

I got one too but they are illegal on the street and pretty pointless to have. I got borred of mine already, had it for a month and a half.. If u get cought u get a bunch of summonses. My dad saw someone get cought right in front of my house and the cops handed him like 5-6 tickets. Not cool.

I also heard that they impound them depending on the cops. I dont know if this is true. They are nice, just not for NYC http://****************.com/smile/emthdown.gif
I brought mine to one of the local BBQ's DUB AND GRUB last week....that was fun. From what i know i dont think u are allowed to ride them even at parks. So how many people are gonna go to the track with them , i know not many so thats y they are pretty pointless.

^^^ None of that has ever stopped me before. Look at half of our cars. Mine hasnt been street legal for some time now. Too Low, Too Loud blah blah, they can have me when they catch me.

wasn't the oil seals, was the exhaust gasket combined with dp mixing too much oil, k?
