I have quite a few paint chips in my front. I heard that red is a weak color. Anyone else out there with paint chip issues?

I was at a R32 GTG this weekend and all the colors were represented. My car was the only one with chips. I thought I heard that Red was a weak color. Any type of red.

I don't have an R, but the original paint on my front bumper would chip like no tomorrow...and that's even with hanging back from trucks on the highway and other sources of flying rocks. The factory paint isn't thin, it's just too hard! If something hits the paint it chips. My new paint is much softer and shods most rock chips. In 9 months, I have a total of two rocks chips compared to around 20 chips the first 9 months with the original paint.

Don't see any damage on my red one at 4000 miles. Got it 30 March, however, and missed the worst of the winter road debris.
Are you one of those fellows who likes to drive up close behind other vehicles .... a tailgater?
