Disclaimer: Stock pedals are awesome. I just prefer different sizes and shapes.
Ok. Big Ups to the guys at Ultimate Pedals, http://www.ultimatepedals.com/ who helped me design a set of pedals that fit my personal preferences and aided my fairly weak heal/toe technique. They'll fabricate pedals to your specs. Here's what we came up with *for me*.

They'll arrive next on Monday and I'll post a pic of them installed. They cost $180 shipped, which is a bargain considering they are exactly what I want and I had unlimited input on each iteration before the design is finalized.

Re: New Pedals on Da Way! (R2-32)

excellent! they look goot. i'm a big fan of using good solid pedals, that work well for you. disclaimer not needed, these stock pedals are excellent, but not the end-all for everyone. i i start apologizing for stuff i'm doing to my car that folks think should not be done to an r32, why, i'd never stop apologizing.

How much? And can you specify your own shape? THeir web site looks like their shapes are pretty standard (and mostly for Ferrari's).

Mine were 180 shipped.
Yes, you can specify shapes and they send you pdfs which you can cut out and tape them on your pedals for review.
As for me, I like the Ferrari brake and clutch design because I come at the pedals from the outside. However, I wanted them larger than the stock ferrari dimensions, so we just used the shape and worked on size.
The throttle is just their interpretation of my ramblings about some of features of various throttles I like. I wanted to have the ability to either roll my right foot over to blip the throttle or pop the heel over depending on my level of braking.

World record what. Smart ass?
I do stand corrected. Didn't catch the price at the bottom. Still, the tone was not needed.

Settle down. You didn't read the post, and someone called you on it in a fairly friendly way. No need to get all out of joint.
In terms of 'World record what?'... Once again, reading deficiency... It's noted in his .sig.
Flame on.

Did you, fukker? I didn't see a price anywhere. Nor specifics on what "help me design" really meant. Was it just the R logo? What it the shape? Save your $.02 for yourself.

cirf. read a post before you clutter a thread up with stupid questions. and then clutter it up even more with a bunch of juvenile smack. go away.

Couple of questions ... how are they attached to the pedal arms (bolted, glued, riveted). Also, will you be at the Midwest Massiv event tomorrow? I was going to drive down and check it out.

I've got momo on right now. Had to drill the arms and bolt them in. I've got a lot of mounting options as far as position b/c of all the holes in the pedals.
I'll be at MM on Sunday first thing at the Dubwerks booth. Pedals won't be installed until next week tho.

HMMM indeed! But I sent them my own rendering which is different than the VW Racing R, although any italicized upper case R looks similar, unless some odd font is used.
