Fixing Scratches on New Beetle Convertible Dash: Solutions Needed!

hey i am usuall in the mk3 forum but i have a problem that im hoping the beetle crowd ca nhlp me with
is there anything that will help fix or cover up scratches on the new beatle convertables dash...it is apparently a very delicate material and scratches easily and i need to know if there something to fix it asap

The dash and steering column scratch very easily, too easily, I accidently put an air freshener on my signal light switch and it ate right through the steering column, I had to order a new piece.
There are a few things you can try.
1.Meguire's Vinyl and Rubber, cleaner and treater
2.Simoniz all purpose cleaner
or 3.Simple Green Automotive cleaner.
NONE OF THESE WILL HARM THE MATERIAL, DON"T USE ARMOR ALL

Yeah about that Armorall, I definitely used the spray-on stuff on my dashboard. It doesn't fix scratches, but it shines it up real nice. I did this several months ago and haven't noticed any damage to the dash.
So I guess what I am getting at is, what is the harm of using Armorall? Not that I am criticizing, but rather I am just curious as to what ill effects you have noticed. Thanks.
