alright, i was dissapointed with the Dyno this past weekend, so i'm going ahead and getting APRed on Monday by GMP Performance... my only questions are which settings to get. originally i was thinking stock and 93. but then it's only about $150 extra for every setting. looking around $750 for everything and $600 for stocka nd 93. desicions, desicions...

how many miles you got??? my car ran alot nicer after 5K miles.....it really loosened up
as for programs stocka and 93 is all you need, unless you wanna 100 oct race prog or valet but 90% of time you will be in 93 oct mod

Just curious besides the fact it was 95 degrees out, how many miles are on your car, and do you thin you may of lost power from the intake, a friend of mine has an GHL CAI on his GTI and he said it felt slower...

CAI tend to free up air velocity in the intake track so your boast will not spike as hard but you will pull more boost to red line....hence the feeling (but dyno) that the car is slower but really its not

Re: getting APRed on Monday. need help (Munchaen)

i have 4500 miles on the car. it feels quicker than when it was stock. and i tried to get one of the guys at the dealership to race me in one of the ones on the lot. but they weren't up for that idea...

Damn, that sounds like a good deal ...... must have been a good "show."
Anyway, I agree with the opinion given. If you have a little patience, then you will be able to find a better deal. Besides, it's the summer time .... there are shows everywhere.

Re: (Hetzen)

Fault Code Erase/Throttle Body Alignment (FCE/TBA)
Fault Code Erase allows you to erase and reset engine related trouble codes without having to use a specialty tool. Throttle Body Alignment allows you to manually perform throttle-body adaptation.
