i was been stupied i try to back up on a up hill.... it's about 60 degrees up.......and i was holding the clutch and setping on the gas at the same time, and i rev the engine to around 5000 rpm for like 2or 3 seconed(without letting off the clutch )coz i was scared to stall the car....and suddenly this wierd smell come out from the engine..like i burned something or like buring metal smell...... i never have this problem before but now the smell is really noticeable ........any ideas???
i know this is stupied .... no flames plz

Burnt clutch... don't rev your engine so high when your clutch is partially engaged or at friction point. If you're backing up slowly just hold the revs somewhere more gentle and then hold the clutch at friction; no harm should be done there.
The smell should go away.
