Re: Neuspeed sport 0r H&R springs... (passatvr6mtl)

The Neuspeed Sports will lower your car more than the advertised 0.75 inches. Most folks seem to get 1.25 inches or so. What shocks/struts are you thinking of using?

Re: Neuspeed sport 0r H&R springs... (MDVDuber)

I am using oem, I had the fk spring and strut combo i had both kits 35-40 and 60-40 both rubbed like crazy. I will have oem shocks for now, and maybe get some bilsteins later,
But should I get neuspeed or h and R.
Thanks.

I'd be concerned about using the stock struts. The Neuspeed springs up the front spring rate to 225 lb and the rear to 165 lb. I'd guess your stock front springs are in the 170 lb range, so the stock dampers will have a tough time controlling the stiffer springs.

I really do like both, but would agree that H&R my be better for your application-

Do you happen to have the part number for the H&R springs? I have a friend who's been looking all over for them, but the only ones he's seen are Neuspeed. Thanks. http://****************.com/smile/emthup.gif
