Yes yes. It's been ~ 2 weeks since I got my suspension (and rear sway bar installed)
and all I have to say is WOW.
The car's chassis strength has become more obvious; the car is more solid and stable.
I don't feel the bumps on the road anymore as much as when I used to have stock suspension.
The bilsteins seem to dampen MUCH better than the stock (and i was told the ride would be
rougher). The H&r sports are also very progressive. Easy during cruising, and very
responsive during sport driving.
I don't even need to "Try" driving anymore. I just steer in the correct direction,
and the car does the rest.
The car sticks to the road like a dead rat on a glue mat. I can make the rear end come out
a little (Cause of the setting on the swaybar) and right when i give a little throttle, it corrects itself.
Car feels NEUTRAL now. Very tight, responsive.
Words can't describe it. I took it out for a nice drive in Los Angeles' Angeles Crest Hwy.
Turns that were recommended at 25mph, i was doing 55 mph and that wasn't even pushing it.
Anyone thinking of doing suspension as a mod, do not think TWICE! I should have done this
as my first mod, right when i got the car!!! I couldn't believe what i was missing out on.
Cheers!

Re: It's BEEN ~ 2 WEEKS! (DriversWanted)

Nice write up. I've always wanted to do the suspension on my car, but I really don't want to spend the money, only to have to take it again in few years when the lease is up.
And like 20R said, what kind of sway bar ?

lower, stiffer suspension w/ sport-tuned shocks? yes it "should" be a rougher ride.
is it just in your head or is your tire pressure way below what it should be.
i have the bilstein sports, eibach pro-kits, and neuspeed rear sway and i can assure u the ride is stiffer and more solid...
and yes it does handle 200x better than stock. but any car w/ sport-tuned suspension is going be a rougher ride than usual.
