I like the effect..

you can always get what you want.
Plus, if you are worrying about your interior dome light, then your car must be in absolute tip top shape huh? Otherwise, take care of everything else first, and then worry about the crap that dont matter.

Go to junkyard with pair of pliers. Yank overhead from vehicle with dimmer. Install in Corrado with +12v to where the original had +12v, Ground to where original grounded, and install light where light was...
Not feeling like a trip to the junkyard? Go here http://www.webelectricproducts.com/products.htm and buy the low side switched dimmer.
I have no experience with the product or the company, but you can buy one and tell us how you like it...

Greg,
I'm new here, but I believe this is a 'information' forum, not an opinion forum. (unless the person asks)
The guy asked a question, that you even quoted.

He didn't ask what you thought about him wanting to do it.
He asked how to do it.
It "matters to HIM".
I asked a simple question in a post of my own, a week ago, about the meter long vac line to the ecm...if .5" cut off would make a difference....and you come back w/ a smart a$$ answer. 'Just fix your car' or something like that.
I just let it go then, but here you go again.
Not everyones car is as perfect as yours is, I'm sure, nor are they as rich as you are, since you can just go out and fix everything as soon as it's acting up....no matter what it costs.

If you don't have something positive, or constructive to say, why don't you just hit the 'back' button, and go to the next post....like everyone else does???

There's no reason to respond, because I'm not going to reply to your post, and/or start a 'flame war'.
I've said my piece, and my allegations are a matter of public record.
I'm right-you are wrong.
I hope you read it, and think about it.
I'm sure I'm not the only one that feels this way.
Sorry folks/Mods, I just felt I needed to say that.

a gradual fade down..
if light was 100%
then the corrado would be 100% 10 sec 0%
i want 100% 5 secs 60% 8 secs 40% 9 sec %20 10 sec 0%

Just when the door is closed and the key is out...NOT when the key is in..it just shuts of after 2 secs

Easy there McGyver, I think Greg actually says what a lot of us are thinking. I see the same questions over and over, things that could be answered if they just did a quick search or looked at the first page of this forum. Anyway, I wish my overhead light actually worked

oichan will this do what i want it to do?
i can't read ??????? ??????? ???? eeh

The dome light fade out controller for 15w single blub.
fade out slowly within 15 - 20 seconds after closing a door.
The wiring point
1.Remove a dome light in the car and wire the side of the door switch line in the connecting in the blue line of " the dome light controller " out of two wired lines.
( The vinyl tape always insulate. )
2.Put " the dome light controller " between the roof and the inside Chun.
3.Inside the roof, in " the dome light controller ", the putting-away is crowded and tightens up a ground wire ( the black line ) together with the ground on the side of the dome light.
4.Switch a dome light switch to DOOR and confirm that the lamp is connected with the opening and shutting of a door and that it disappears slowly.
When not operating successfully, paradox a second series of the wiring, to do the ground bad of it and so on are thought of.

To change time, the 47k ohm resistance must be changed. may be...
