Need help!

Ok so today i was getting out of my corrado and the car was off and i hit the brake and my gauge lights went on and so did my side markers! does anyone know what can be causeing this? and also what i can do to cure it can this lead to anything like a bad electrical problem? Any advisewould be great.

well i think you've answered your own question, it's a bad electrical problem

Have you or the PO been in the wiring at all? It sounds to me like the brake pedal is shorting out the parking light circuit wire. Check to see if the pedal assembly is shorting anything out by pinching or grounding any wires. Also if you have an aftermarket alarm, check those wires for shorting out since the light flash will be tied into that circuit as well.
