I just ordered some flik artic's and these are the tires that are coming with them, just wondering if anyone uses these tires on here?
What kind of performance should i expect out of them?
How do they handle in bad weather ie. snow, rain?
Road noise? Thanx

Re: Anyone have Falken Zeix 512? (tallicagolf)

I got those tires.
The tire is quiet, great in rain and on dry; no screeching when taking corners fast; sidewall is softish.
Main reasons I got them - cheap, all-season, high-performance (among all-season ones), quiet and long-lasting.
I'm happy with the choice, considering the price tag.

I'll tell you but that won't help you much

I got original 14" rims with 60 series tires and the sidewall seems to be flexing abit more than with my older original Good-for-a-year or another cheap tire I had B4.
The Falkens were surprisingly sticky right off the bat but didn't/don't get much stickier with mileage or warm up.

I have these in 195/60/14 also. They definitely have soft sidewalls, but they're awesome overall for the price. Maybe the 195/50/15 tire might have slightly stiffer sidewall.

I got a set last week for my from-the-ashes 91 GLI. 195/50/15's on 15" cast BBS. They seem to stick well, the struts are shot on this car so it's hard to tell for sure yet. They get noticeably warm to the touch and a bit gummy after spirited medium to high speed work, and are predictable in terms of breakaway.

How sticky do they get after there warmed up, just wondering i know there not slicks i just want to know how they act after being warmed up alittle

they don't get any stickier when they warm up, they are passenger car tires. driven hard they will wear quickly becuase of the blocky tread pattern, but they are a great all around inexpensive option for street use.
