I'm coming in from Chicago this Thursday (16th thru 19th) and would love to see one in person. Anyone take delivery yet? Any dealers in town that I should visit? Where can I get a cold beer? Cheers

Haven't seen any VW dealerships walking around in the city centre, but you'll find new Golfs at any European VW dealership.
And you can find cold beer at bars in the longest pedestrian street of the world, the Stroget or in the beautiful canal area Nyhavn.

Thanks son of a . . . I looked for a V at Virum Motor Compaghi VW, but they were just a service center. I have been staying in Lyngby (Sandic Eremitage) and have seen loads of VW's, but no MK V's.
Until tonight. I took the rail to Kobenhavn's city center and it was after a few Carlsbergs's that I noticed a black 4dr Golf V rental (AVIS). It was dark, but the Sony cybershot captured a couple nice ones.
Hard to do it justice in the dark, but I wan't overly impressed (but I was WAY happy to see one in person!!!) It's a nice car, but I can't wait to return to Chicago Sunday to wash & drive my MKIV R32.
I'll be back in Copenhagen next month this time if anyone is around. Cheers!

I just saw this... I guess Im a little behind.
You see golf V´s in the city, I actually rode in a new TDI last week and saw one near the main square yesterday on my way home from work. Because of the high car tax... not everyone has them. Thats why I exported my 337 to Germany and keep it there.
Next time you are in town, send me a PM and I´ll try to meet up.
