I'm looking at a couple of used SVT Foci and the one that seems like the best deal is a 3 door with the european package, certified pre-owned, low miles, a really nice clean car. But it's that bright orange that's unique to the European appearance package. I kinda like it... so without sounding like I need fellow texers to make decisions for me, is it okay for a 27y/o almost-married guy to drive an orange car?

My 2002tii is orange but its from the 70's so it's okay. I just don't know about this Focus. I really like the color, but I have to live with it for a long time. You opinions?

If you like it go for it. I like orange a lot http://****************.com/smile/emthup.gif

I rocked an orange car for several years. Of course, it was a '64 Karmann Ghia, so the color fit the car.
I don't think I'd sport the orange on a late model. Oh, and I like your use of the plural for "Focus"

Painting the black one inka orange as well. I only buy orange lighters, both my dogs have orange collars, my hair has been orange, and I own several articles of clothing in that particular hue.

Same color as my '02! I love it on that car!

It's a little garish, I'm not sure I would want one, but it's certainly "ok" to have one, especially if you're not driving it like an ass.
And you picked a really good car to get a deal on, IMO, I'd snap it up. The Euro package makes the foci look good IMHO without ricing it. AND you've got xenons... You're not going to get much better value anywhere.

i miss my tropic orange mkIV, but competition orange <along with screaming yellow> are exclusive to SVT products so i say go with it. kinda wish the headlights were smoked but hell, they re HIDs!!! hot schitt.

This is not the exact car- but it's the same color:

To be fair - that picture makes the color look a little more "WHOA!!" then the color does in person.
Anyway - Orange is a great color and if you can swing a nice deal on the SVT Euro (as I'm sure you can) - then I say "Go For It!!" http://****************.com/smile/emthup.gif
