Im comin home tonight and i see a cop racing after me,there was no 1 behind me at all.Its a cop coming from the other town.He pulls me over and says i have no front plate and blue led's .I tell him i have the plate and it sitting right there in the window.I tell him my bumper(oem r32) just got painted and i didnt drill holes yet but a shop is doing it this week.He then says"i would get my money back for the bumper if it doesnt come with holes." Then writes me 2 tickets for bulb color and no front plate,which is technically there.Now i have a court date and have to have it fixed. The blue bulbs i will just replace with white led's and the plate i might just ziptie to my grill or put my stock bumper back on,no way in hell am i drilling holes.I heard there might be a law that doesnt require a plate in nj .Should i expect any fines or will they just drop it when i go to court with it removed.
i hate pigs!!

Oh forget Madison, they have nothing better to do than harass kids since the town doesn't want FDU there. I must have gotten pulled over 5 times in 2 weeks for no front plate. Thank god it was a different cop each time.

He can still give you a ticket if the license plate is in the window? My car passed inspection like that, and I've been pulled over twice and no one has ever said anything.

Only police and fire can have blue or red forward lights on the car. Even if you replace them I doubt your gonna get the judge to walk outside to inspect your car. Your not gonna get outta that one.
Not all cops are pigs, or aholes, they are doing there job. My pops is a cop, 30 years. And he doesnt go around bustin balls or actin like a hard ass. He prolly wouldnt even pull you over if you had a full rack of blue lights on the roof. But some cops are gung ho but you just have to avoid the situation.
You should know better than to have blue or red lights on the front of your car.
If they didnt go around giving out tickets for people with blue leds or red leds or front plates or whatever then the things people do to their cars would just get worse and worse and who knows what would happen. There are reasons they give tickets for this stuff, and its not just to bust the balls of dubbers. But dont get me wrong, I dont agreee with all of it. And even though my pops is a cop I've gotten my share of tickets.
License plate has to be so many inches off the ground and cannot be soo many inches above a certain height, you'll get yanked all day long with it in the window.

im not a ball busta all i do is pull over Honda's and Acura's for all the rice burning the only time i gave a V Dub a ticket was in a business area and he was doing a sick burn out and i was driving with my captain so i had to give him a ticket but all the information on it was wrong...

so we are not all pigs because i see it as paying my bills and hooking up my dub.. it's only a job... and the ticket u got was for improper display of plate and he can give u a ticket even if it not his town.....
