Hey there, if any of you have pictures of stock 2.0 liters I would love to see them... I haven't seen a good pic of the MKIV 2.0 before.

What kind of pics do you want? I have a Silver 2000 Golf Gl.
I also happen to have a digital camera sitting right here. Let me know what kind of pics you want and i'll take some for you. BTW I just installed my Panasonic HU, I'll snap some pics of that to.

Sup D.J. hows the christmas break goin?
I went to test drive a jetta this morning( 2.0l GL 5speed with 41k on the clock) great deal($6500). The thing was so nice shifted nicely, clean int/ext. So i told them to save it till 4 when i could bring my mom up after work for her to cosign on it. When we pulled in at 4 i saw my car pulling out of the lot with a happy new owner driving it away. THEY F'ING SOLD MY CAR. So i was super pissed, raised some hell, and the dealer is going to an auction this weekend to buy an equivelent trim package/milage car. They said if they could not find a perfect match they would buy the next best one and honor the original price. So im happy and may be driving a jetta when we get back to school.
Now all i have to hope for is that my new rims come in the mail before the 13th.

AAAAAHHH!! I love a good clean stock or close to stock car. As much as I like body kits, I have to thank VW fr the clean lines that they have given us? Any of you guys got pics of ur engines, I know if your cars look that good ur engines gotta be phat.
Whats up Dane, my Breaks going good- you? 2.0? I thought u were holding out for a 1.8T... I'm still workin the $$ (more like beggin mom and dad to let me get the car, I've got the finances worked out and I can afford the car, but mom and dad pay tuition, so they ahve the final say-so) And I have finally decided on a car, a Tornado Red # door GOlf GL with Grey Cloth and a 5 speed...swore up and down I wanted an auto til the other day when I drove a 5 speed GLS and loved it...WEll man, I'm going to some other posts, I'll ttyl and thanks much guys for the pics!

I was holdin for a 1.8T but this is alot more economical. I have 21k to spend on a car but that is also money for school. If i bought a 1.8T then I would be taking out loans by like the 4th year of school. If I go this route then i can pay for 1 more year of school(11k), 6500 for the car. And if my math is correct that leaves $2400 left over for mods right off the bat. So i could get a 1.8T pay highter insurance by far and not even be able to afford a intake, chip, and exaust till the summer, or I could get this 2.0 and have 2400 in mods under the hood before the snow melts.

j/k... I must say you guys have got some great rides... I need to get some tails for mine, and I'll start posting... Lets see some more GTI/TDI's, I'd like some more ideas for mods to do.
