I'm sure by now, you've called around. this is L.A., it should be easy to find. i know our Pacific VW store had one last week. give the a call. if not, VW Santa Monica is our other store and of the 2, one should have or be able to find you the color you want.

Dirito Bros in Walnut Creek (N. Cal) has several still on their website, including a blue one. I have no idea if they actually have them, or if the web page is out of date.

blue was 40% of what was brought over, so they are the most common, red is most rare, silver is second and black is thrid.
there are about 25 up here in nor cal in diff colors at the various dealers here in the bay area

City VW in San Diego has a silver (or two) and I know that Miramar VW in San Diego has some silvers (although I'd only buy from them as a last, last, last resort, especially since they want MSRP + $5K for them

I bought the last blue in the San Diego area from Herman Cook this past Saturday. They also had a silver there, but it's used (one of the people that works there drives it).

don't know, i haven't really asked them about the ones on the lot. I ordered mine in march and picked it up in april. I'd imagine you'd be able to weasel it out under sticker now.

I saw last night that the silver at City has a sign in the window that they want $1250 under MSRP for it.
