a4 performance

i drive a 1999 a4 1.8tq 5sp, and ive been wondering about performance for a while. is anybody out there running giac software, with borla down pipe back exhaust? ive heard good things about the combo, but i want to know about real experiences. any info would be great, thanks

I have GIAC software and it had a nice response with no problems, however i dont have a borla exhaust, but i bet you could make decent power gains with both of them together

I have a 97...same as yours...just put in Giac software on my k04 and will be putting on a Borla exhaust (catback, dp) next week...will let you know how it works out

I dont know form experience, but i havent heard anything BAD, ever.
