Re: Any advice on how to break the new car in? (dmc)

Hook your back wheels onto a speed bump, pull the e-brake, and do a burnout until the front tires explode, preferably with the ASR turned off.

Just break it in like any othe car. Don't let the engine run at the same speed for extended periods of time. Vary the engine speed to promote proper seating of the piston rings.

How many sets of tires do you buy a week?

Awesome. I mean, you need to buy winter tires anyway, right? http://****************.com/smile/emthup.gif

My SRT4's owners manual suggested a break in period of 500km!

That's more like it.

Here's my method:
Buy the car at a dealer 4 hours away and have them drive it to you. By the time you get it, the car will be broken in, and you're ready to start abusing it. http://****************.com/smile/emthup.gif

I didn't realize that TMB had been demoted back down to delivering cars.

Couldn't be any worse than how I'd break it in...
