Got MK3 2.0 springs! what to do with them...

I got them for only $10. I figured they would give me a little lift for winter, and hopefully the harder spring will improve handling. I heard the top coil is actually smaller in diameter than a MK2 spring. Do I cut that off then? Are there dead coils on the bottom to be sacrificed?
Right now I have Neuspeed Sofsport, and they are pretty soft...

i got them on my car for temps but i dont feel bad for using them they ride quite nice for stock

they are an exact fit. I know because i have them on my car.

Well they are being shipped, when I get them on I will definetley take pics. I am sure they will give me a lift because a MK3 is like 1,000 pounds heavier right?

i have corrado vr rear springs in the back to keep the ass from sagging. so i'm sure you'll get lifted as well. vr springs would be your best bet though, but for 10. all that can beat that is free.
