a turbo question i probably shouldn't ask...

I have a garrett turbo from a 7.1L Ford powerstroke engine. It's got a 1.10 A/r on the compressor side, and 1.15 A/r on the turbine side. Am I right to assume there's no way for a 2.0aba to be able to spool this thing at any reasonable rpm? Or is there something I could do with this thing besides sell or trade it?

you could build your motor, turn it into a mechanical lifter, race ported head with a hot ass cam, and put a .58 turbine housing on that, and it'll spool in your useable powerband then.

or 16v head and .58 housing. it'll still spool way up top though.

I wana trade it for a new t3/t4 hybrid, then put that on the Aba, or on the 20v. I don't think i'll realistically use this thing.

find a local that rebuilds diesel turbos, and he will probably give you at least $150 as a core credit towards the new purchase.

put it on a honda 1.6 vtec with 100 shot should have no problems when the vtec kicks in at 8000rpm

smaller turbine housing should spool that... that 500 and some hp rabbit video that was floatin around runs a holset hx40 turbo which is a BIG turbo upgrade for the cummins diesels.. with that said a saller housing like .58 should spool cuz that hx40 is bigger

well what's the best thing to do? should I put the money in the "big boy" and hope to get some daily drivable use out of it, or should I ditch it for the t3/t4 and know what the results will be? Also how difficult will it be to find the parts needed to make this happen?
any thoughts?

Bore to 1.7L, GSR Head, Type R cams, Crazy porting, 10,000rpm redline also hehe
I saw one of them and it made about 500hp @ ~9,000rpm...smaller turbo of course
