PLEASE DO NOT GET A GLI LIP!!! they are over played and over done...about every jetta has them and every JTI has them everyone and their mom has them...JE design is good, oettinger, reiger RS-4, MSD-RST, there are alot of good ones out there so please do not join the crowd of GLI lip owners...although GLI lips aren't bad they are just played out

Anyway, I have the GLI lip, for one reason, OEM FIT AND FINISH. None of the companies above can offer factory fit and finish. If there is one thing I cannot stand it's pooring fitting body components.

thats your opinion...msd-rst fits pretty well...it has the same points as the stock bumper or the votex that also ahs the same points as an OEM bumper...I THINK!

see i agree ..i've had mine sitting in my closet for 5 months now...i was really anxious to put it on this coming spring and have a fresh look to my car ....but now i dn't know i've lost the "love" for it....its too affordable and easy to do and i don't want to be another sheep of the vortex altho yes i don't live near most of u because the country is big..posting pics will suck balls because it'll be "another" gli lipped car...whoopee...and to the wise guy about the bbs wheels...there is more than one bbs wheel remember that..there is only one gli lip

rieger lip (the one that looks liek the 4motion) i love it.
and to the dude who said that everyone wants bbs? yeah, thats it. everyone WANTS bbs, but not as many people get to have it. with the GLI lip... everyone wants it, everyone has it... now i dont want it anymore

In response to all of you who are against the GLI lip, I wanted to let you know, for now, as my first attempt at a front bumper mod I am going to put on the GLI lip. (I am just a poor college student, and mod money is very hard to come by, I have a hard enough time making the car payemnt each month )

Anyway, in the future I definitely plan on upgrading to something a little more expensive and something not so common. (possibly the Votex or Caractre front bumper)

The GLI lip will be a mod that for now, I like the look of, and can put on the car without costing me an arm and a leg. It also allows me to finally have a front lip, I can't stand the black plastic piece on their right now. The car needs something that looks agressive and comes down a little lower up there. http://****************.com/smile/emthup.gif

umm the votex bumper is very common so u can scratch that one off ur to do list as an uncommon upgrade front bumper lol

and if ur a poor college student u still have the choice of doing the 4 motion lip which normally runs a cool $80

I thought about that, but to me, the GLI lip looks a ton better. Thanks for the idea though http://****************.com/smile/emthup.gif

but from your other posts, it sounds like your a poor college student who would want ANYTHING on the front instead of a black valence. why not paint the valence? its the cheapest of them all.

The valence on my car is broken, previous owner must have caught it on a parking block or a curb. So yeah, I like the GLI lip a lot, and after seeing the above pictures, I think I have made my decision.
