search turned up a couple of things on how to fix, i wanna know why...
i ran out of gas 2 weeks ago, because my meter is fishy / broken. anywho, i stalled in front of my uni today because some woman walks in front of my car. anywho, time to go start the car, and it pooped out. cranking, yet no juice. i smell no gas. what the heck methinks. tomorrow morning / afternoon i'm going to reset the fuel relay (remove battery, then remove relay, check it, then replace) and check the fuel pump fuse and i was wondering if there's anything else i should check, and if this would be a good target for what's goin on. thanks y'all!

Re: fuel pump / relay gayness (vietrado)

If you ran it out of gas, you could have killed the pump. Fuel is the pumps lubricant for the positive displacement pump and when it's not there, it can seize up the pump and kill it. After that it can work intermittently or not at all. I had a transfer pump that would die after driving for a bit when the pump got hot. Cool down, drive some more...
Figure out if you have an early 2 pump G60 or a later '90 single pump setup. If 2 pump, I would look at changing the transfer pump in the tank first as those are the cheapest and most temperamental.
If others, dig deep into your pocket if it truly is the pump. Certainly the relay is not a bad place to start, but you mentioned everything was fine until you ran out of gas, thus the bad news above..
