Re: (Mike 05 GLI)

6'5" two and some change. The biggest problem I ever had with the VW seats in the past has been the lower back support and overall head room.. I am happy that these seats now come with the lower back adjustment. That has made all of the difference.
The ride will be made more comfy when my armrest gets put in there.
The GLI also has more headroom than any of my other Jettas- the 97 trek and the 87 wolf.

I never felt so short. I'm 5'10" 160 and the only problem I have is lint.

I could complain about the way the seat adjusts, because it's downright

LOL, another poor fool that never read his owner's manual.

yea still haven't opened it up at all. But i did figure out the telespopic steering wheel. What a difference it makes not reaching for it.

I'm 6'7", 280lbs. A large individual by any definition. I am perfectly comfortably in the seats, assuming that they are adjusted how i like them. This is all the way back on the rails, the rear of the bottom part of the seat all the way down, leaned back quite a bit, headrest up, lumbar in, steering wheel all the way out and midway up. Also I would be EXTREMELY uncomfortable if they are not adjusted properly, or if items in my pockets come between my person and the side bolster 'rails'.
Smaller people seem more uncomfortable in them, which seems odd as you would think it would be the other way around, but they get an enthusiastic 'thumbs up' from the majority of people riding in my car, assuming that they take the time to adjust them properly.

My seat squeeks, anyone else have that? Im 6' 2" and my lower back hurts some times but never my thigh, my left leg used to hurt and it was haha my wallet. If you keep your wallet in your back pocket you might be leaning on it or something and that could make a difference..it did for me.

my passenger seat squeaks when i have anyone but a 100 lb chick sitting in it... i took it to the dealership and they oiled it.. haha it was good for about an hour then my friend broke it again... *******.. oh and i am 6'2" and i am very comfortable with the driving position.

My only gripe with the car is that the tach is on the left. With my left hand in the middle of the wheel I can't see the tach. Grrr.

i would have to agree with you there... when i am at the track or doing some spirited driving, i have to reposition my head and arm so i can see where i am taching (is that a word?) shoulda mounted it on the right or in the middle...
