hey there guys and gals, i've been having a curious thing happen to my jetta while i'm accelerating, my car starts hesitating and shuddering. It feels like its losing power. This leads me to believe it is a problem with the fuel system. My car is running Digifant II. Please help if you've had a similar problem or know what it might be. Thanks.

that happened to my jetta a few months ago, it just got worse and worse, until i took it in...turns out there was a loose wire for the engine to ground out the electricity. i dunno, just something to look at.

does it happen mostly when its raining? and if you take you foot off the gas partitialy does it still hesitate? it could be bad wires or bad ground so the car isent firing correctly

no it hesitates no matter what the weather is like, and it only hesitates with the gas pedal depressed.

its problem is its a digi2. i'd start with easy stuff, like cap and rotor.
