Re: SCCA Solo2.... A-Cross (henman5000)

I won the Nebraska Region DS points in the R this year!
A big thanks to Brian Fitzpatrick for only showing up at 2 local events this year, as he and his wife was on their way to winning Nationals with their ITR!
He drove the R for a fun run this year and had it within a sec of his fastest time of the day! If we can get some Hoosiers for the 18s we may stand a chance in regionals and possibly nationals.

Re: (TXBDan)

anyone out there running DS with bilsteins or koni yellows???
I won our local PAX championship with the R in DS. Completely stock - except for flapper mod and Kuhmos that is

and will need some extra help defending the title next year. I doubt I'll be as lucky and have three rain events in one season again

the intake _should_ push you out of DS

To answer Ian's Q, there's no mention of reclassification for 2005. Other class changes are already annouced. 2005 Mini S goes to DS which should be interesting. Not enough R's competing and the only one at nationals finished in the bottom half of DS.

The new rules should be out soon, let's see what they say..... It would definitely be interesting to see the Mini in DS......

The Rules are already published for download on the SCCA website.
But have not checked the classification yet

just checked the 2005 listings. Looks like I was off on the Cooper-S classification.
R32 still in DS. CooperS 2005 and earlier models are currently listed in GS, however there is a class change proposal to move the Cooper's to DS in the December FasTrack.
