Goals for '05?

Just wondering what everyone else has planned for their passat this year..might be a good time to throw some ideas around!
Personally, my first mod of the year is going to be snipping my DRL's..
stereo got put in on boxing day,
polishing my estorils,
body work/paint,
5-speed swap (fingers crossed),
lowered
plus all the fun little things that make the biggest difference, AND the unwanted/expected problems!
then the usuals: good health and all that stuff

HAPPY NEW YEAR, EVERYONE!

Let's see.....
Finish my new headlights! After waiting 11 months to get my Hella ecodes, I promptly took them apart for modding. They will have HID's and levelers as soon as I collect all the parts.
Replace my tinted taillights with a set of authentic factory smoked tails that I won on ebay.de
maybe replace headliner
maybe do clutch/lightened flywheel/timing chain job
replace motor mounts with modded ones
replace exhaust- still rockin' the stocker
grapple with inevitable window problems
finally install my keyless module/banjo remote that have been sitting on my dresser since last spring
finally post about all the stuff that I did in 2004 and haven't told yet

Goals for early 05:
1) keyless entry mod install (hopefully tomorrow)
2) CHIP! (GIAC)
3) Headliner repair
4) pinstripe removal (gold pinstripe on forrest green = the ugly) and a good waxing come springtime
5) Maybe new suspension.. lower it about an inch, look good, better handling.. but still be able to go over speed bumps http://****************.com/smile/emthup.gif
Probably think of more things later depending on budget.. but those are the base plans for 1-2Q '05 for now

My goal for '05:
- Put new 17 in mag
- Try find air suspension
- Finish the look of my sub box in trunk
- Put glow gauge(if I can find one up to 260km/h)
- Put glow knob
- *Put in rebuilt motor 16 valves with turbo or supercharged (try find way everything fit good without to much mod under the hood)
If someone have good idea let me know!

Just got a 93 GLX so I need to figure out all thats wrong with it first

Its got a clatter after it starts up so I am assuming timing chain guides.
Something is funky with the ABS.
Power drops off promptly at 4500RPM.
Once I get that taken care of.....
Respray..just don't know what color. Body is perrrfect though.
Wheels..Not sure, maybe some Monte Carlos, maybe something non VW OEM.
Would love some dual round DE's!

As soon as tax return I will drop a few hundreds in speakers, amp and woofer.
Nothing else. I got enough in that car and will try not spending
money on it besides repairs, if they ever happen, knock on wood.
Only thing that comes to mind will be a new gasket
on the valve cover.

do something with the grill (the third mechanic broke it)
smoke the tail lights
fix rust on trunk and other paint flaws.
buy a garage with a house connected to it for the passat

Head liner replaced
Mirrors will get turn signals (Current side markers will have wolfsburg logo)
18" Moda R 3's with Goodyear Eagle F1's done
Side front fender grille cut outs (Lines and both sides not just intake)
Front Rieger bumper kit with original fogs etc
Chrome trim around centre piece or bumper
Custom tan leather interior with black inserts
2004 Audi A6 hid's done
Custom harness for rear fogs done
painted bottom rear bumper
Saab gps style antenna on roof as opposed to fuba
1998 GTi Golf motor 48,000 kms done
Trasmission completely rebuilt done
Replaced sunroof cables etc
Lowering springs with new struts front and back
7" lcd in dash screen done

Get the rest of the parts for an ABA G60
pistons, rings, wrist pins & clips
port the spare G60 head,
send the charger to BBM for rs/rsr treatment
clutch, pressure plate & release bearing
chg the Hanger Bearings & CV in the center driveshaft
replace the front AND rear half shafts
find 4x this part number in Europe 191 505 383 A
get that rwlly nice cloth for my dash from a mk4

let's see.
get my first passat b3(1992) in the end of January, which is lightly modded, lowered, wheel. chip, intake. vr6 swap, racing seats, leather interior from 95 passat, tinted all around.
and hopefully turbocharge it in the summer, and hopeufully around 350whp, still somewhat reliable.
then little details, to make the car look newever, and nicer, but nothing ricey.

Fix rattling/knocking noise underhood (PS pump?)
get new tires mounted on painted rims and on car in spring
install KYB shox/struts and strut bearing
install sound system after getting rear speakers
paint car
window tint
graft clear corners and install

It's all a question of money, but top of the list this year are suspension and wheels, hopefully a VAG 5 spoke of some sort. Beyond that its a big wishlist of parts to replace (fogs, mk3 alarm module for keyless, etc) and parts to add (cai, bigger monitor for the pc, etc) and then a bit of fab (dash enclosure for said monitor, smooth the nose of the car, etc).
Edit: And im sure there will be a number of broken parts to be replaced as well.

Since so much is done why not show us!

I am hoping to have my interior finished
tranny rebuild with peloquin
stage II SPEC clutch with lightened flywheel
kinetic turbo or C2 SC, dunno yet.
fix all my dents and respay car
finish my CAI
get that shift boot on
fix my broken fog light
new wiring and hoses
New floor mats
mabye a better sub woofer enclosure
fix sunroof (JB Weld?)
Hardwire V1
a4 handles
replace one muffler with a resonator... mabye
polish wheels
have intake manifold powder coated.
Thats about it for now...

redo stereo to look more professional
GIAC chip
Possibly cams.
Depots and clear corners.

So far, this, plus the tails are tinted and the timing parts are redone:

I plan to add headlamp washers ASAP and brace for a 5 spd. replacement/overhaul...Athough I'd really, really like to throw down for a pair of Corbeau GTSII seats up front...
