Was gonna get some to protect them, just felt like making a new thread. Any problems with putting them on HID's?(they are the OE Euro's) Mine make a wierd "foggy" halo on the lense in front of the projector when they are on.

Re: Anybody got Lamin-X on thier HID's? (rocket vr6)

x-pel is better than lamin-x. it's 3m and from what i've heard, it's thicker.
oh and i think hillside imports has the oem covers, but i've heard they don't offer up as much protection, and they're more visible.

i had lamin-x on my OEM hid's before i sold them to "81 dollar" PM him.. i'm sure he's still got them.. http://****************.com/smile/emthup.gif
they were/are a very good product.. perfectly clear.. made me feel a little more comfortable driving on the highway knowing little rocks wouldn't be creating a problem anymore..
EDIT: found my old pics of the jetta..

I got the lamin-X and love it, had it on the car since new, pulled it off at 100K and the lights were brand new, put the blue tint on at the time and love it.
Stuff works great and for 40bux to the door, can't beat the price http://****************.com/smile/emthup.gif
