Diodes is what you are going to do a search for. They work, but not the greatest for stock trim! Save your money!

my friend has it for his Mazda Mil and all it does is sucks up gas like crazy! The car feels the same and does nothing different!

I first saw these when I had my Neon. In the Neon, that diode would trick the PCM to think the throttle is open wider than it really is. Then the PCM would supply more fuel, thus giving you few more ponies. Never tried it, but it really is just a waste of money. You'll never see 20hp as they claim.

Exactly. The only thing you'll get is worse gas mileage.

Exactly. The only thing you'll get is worse gas mileage.

A few people I know use certain types of chips; not sure what brand. They actually made his top out at 150, when originally it was 120. Gave another's 5.0 Gt about 15 more hp. Havent tried it yet but I'll update.

Honestly, if the people selling this thing spell "Volkswagen" -- " Volkswagen" they have no business selling anything. They should learn to be less ignorant and spell things correctly first, then try and rip people off with a redundant product that doesn't work.
what's even better is i can't spell vw wrong on these forums, it automatically corrects it ahah

i think you are talking about those programable "superchips" or something. those will remove governers and increase power. I've seen it on shows like horsepower tv and TRUCKS.

lol exactly. It costs the seller about 20 cents to make his "speedchip" and sells it on ebay for 20 bucks or whatever the going price now is.
