Re: (actng)

I can fit me and my girlfriends snowboards into my MK2 Jetta. They sit perfectly upright tucked under the seats to the rear window, plus it's a beater so I don't care about snow melting.. http://****************.com/smile/emthup.gif

Re: (Johnny_Turbo)

I went up to Blue on christmas eve...it was fun.

Anyone been the past week or so? How are the conditions?

I'm heading down to Holiday Valley on saturday...so I'll get back to you on that one.

Re: (vdubman1)

Just came back from Blue. As expected, it sucks. Lots of bare spots, frozen granular everywhere else. If I want to ride on sugar, I'll do it in my own kitchen.
Of course, everything sucks compared to the powder day at Jay over Christmas holidays...

i went to blue about 2 weeks ago and it was the same garbage. I cant stand frozen granular!

Re: (Johnny_Turbo)

Going to Blue Sat Night, I'm a "Night Rider", usually less people. Plus at night it is more fun to try and dodge snowplowers that run in front of you, especially when you can't see them until they are on top of your board.

As far as conditions, I have a 5X7 pass, so if the hills suck, there is always the Indian Motorcycle Couger Lounge

Hey we should have a VWvortex day at Blue, just an Idea.

Re: (PelicanGolf2)

Just got in from Tremblant this past week. The conditions were not bad some icy patches time to time but still able to have some fun, just dont fall much otherwise ull be sore for awhile.
Didnt go in the park much, did mostly blues and black diamonds. The hill wasnt busy so it was great for waiting in lines to get back on. And go figure, the day we leave it snows 15cm the night before and we couldnt enjoy it. So im sure there will be a lot open this weekend if anyone is going

Re: (woofster)

Sat Night, what a Fudge up, that was. Must have been begginer night. I actually got a warning for riding too fast down an intermidiate run.

snow was great, considering the amount of people there, would have been awesome if it was empty.

Went to Horseshoe last night, mild weather, snow was a little granular and icy in spots (but what do you expect from Ontario) however it was DEAD, never more than 3 people ahead of you in the lift lines. All in all not a bad trip...... Did bruise my A$$ though

Saturday was retarded, Sunday was much better....going this Tues again, should be empty.

Yeah, what was the deal on Saturday? I was up there but didn't hit the slopes. Saw the humongous lineups.

I went riding on Sunday again, however, and it was much better.
