My friend just recently bought a base model 95' Camaro, this is the V6 model and i thought the V6 only came FWD but he claims its rear wheel, are all camaros RWD?

All Camaros are RWD.
This is the closest thing to a FWD Camaro (since it very nearly was the replacement):

Supposedly the "General" is going to design the old F-body platform i.e. Camaros n Firebirds under the new "W" platform like the Grand Prix and other 3.8 litre s/c widebodies but with AWD. Me being a Chebby lover still would love to see the Camaros and Fireturds roll off the factory floor again but not at that cost, still the 3.8 sc's no slouch and are a force to be reconned with on the drag strip. I belive the the 1/4 mile times for an 01 Grand Prix Gtp are mid to low 14's not to bad for a 3200 lb+ car but still not up to standards for a later 4th gen F-body fan such as me. (4th gen camaros we capable of pulling mid to low 13's in the quater pending on the driver....thats stock.) What can I say there is no Replacement for Dispalcement

Tell your friend he's a f'ing wanker and to shove his RWD Camaro up his RWD ass. Never admit you're wrong. Never.

there is such a thing as too much car lounge, I think .

Haha. I'd go with this method, too.

I've never heard of the next Camaro being AWD and it definitely won't be FWD, the next Grand Prix will be RWD and right now it's offered with a V8 so I don't see why they'd bring a Camaro to market with a S/C'd 3.8 as the top engine, doesn't make sense.
The latest rumors are that the next Camaro will be built on; an extended Kappa platform (Solstice/Sky only longer) or, on the Zeta platform (next gen GTO & an upcoming Chevrolet coupe). It'll be RWD with a V8 and a V6 in base form.

I just read something on both of your statements (camaroz28.com)and i would agree with both of you guys, but who knows everything right now is hear say. The Gm Top brass are keeping thier lips locked on their proposals, but i would definately count the Firebird out of any production in conjuction with the Camaro to save on costs. But who knows.......i just want to know whats really going on
