I didn't think they came out with a MkIV V6 supercharger kit yet.
They claim to bump the horsepower by 100hp.
That's a hell of a bump.
You must be talking about an older V6.
100hp bump would give you one hell of kick in the pants from stock.
To each his own . . . but chip, cams, exhaust, and headers will be much less powerful than a SC'd VR6. Plus, headers for a VR6 will net you (maybe) 1-2hp max. Definitely not worth $0.02, IMHO.
I hear DSR 256's will work well with the Z-charger, though.
It's not the price. Think about any kit that is as complete and non-invasive...making as much power as the ZSC kit.
They'll eventually figure it out. Unfortunately dubbers clamored for word from ZE and they opened their mouths too early. It's just not ready yet.
Sure, you could cobble together a turbo kit for less and make more power. But who's doing it? Really? Just Ventodan, and his is as custom as they come.

i don't know where you see this?? still says jan 31 on the site.
I got some info last week and Nik told me that they have one kit left, which was part of the initial (pre-official-release?) lot of (??) kits. I'm still curious.
This is the only thing I could find http://www.z-engineeringusa.com/vw_mk4vr6u.htm
I did not see Jan 31 listed anywhere on the site for this product. That is why I said it "looks like it's available"
