Smoothing sounds great but the longevity of a body kit bonded and smoothed in everyday use would suck. The properties of the different materials would heat and cool at different rates causing all kinds of nasty looking things to happen over time. Not to mention vibrations and everything else. Besides repair in case of a ding would be much easier with out smoothing.

well i checled out 1552 and they only had the pontus mirrors for MKIII, but that doesnt mean 1)they wont fit or 2)they have them but not on the site. thanks for the info. im gonna keep hunting http://****************.com/smile/emthup.gifMirrors should be Pontus and not some monkey doing something bad to a football.

if u put that on, u better have some serious power to back it up (i.e.- Dahlback racing style........)

i'm a sucker for the boy-racer look and so i have to go with the wide-body look..
what would be cool though is if it is possible to fab up some wide CF fenders that can be painted to match.. that would be the shiznit..
