for me at least on a corrado....4 hours...probably could knock it down to 3 if it wasnt so cold out

wow that's impressive!
i got someone who knew what they were doing to do mine and it still took around 8hrs.
i also cleaned every duct and vent in the process.
but for some reason the car still smells like coolant and i got it replaced mid summer.
Is there anything i can do to fix that?

Wow thats quick! Took me a lot longer to do mine. I also did the little bit here little there routine. Took about a week @ about an hour or two a day.

ive done MY heater core on my corrados (swapping dashes etc etc) i think 3 times...5 total for corrados, 1 mk3, 1 b4 passat, and about 4 b5(b5.5) passats...
so if youre in the nyc metro area and need a heater core, you know who to call
